Wind Tunnel Testing

After an initial design of the HESHPEV was created, it was printed on an ABS plastic 3D printer to scale. This model allowed the team to test the design in a wind tunnel at the university to obtain the vehicle aerodynamics. Two models were created and printed, one with wheels inside of the body and the other with wheels on the outside of the body with fairings. With testing and calculation, the team could optimize the design for the best drag coefficient based off of drag force.
